Prescription Lenses
Now that you’re found yourself a hip, fashionable and very cool pair of spectacle frames (or two), what kind of lenses should you choose to go with it? Thankfully, the options are narrower, and our trained optometrists and opticians will help you choose the right lenses for your frame as well as for your lifestyle and eye care needs. The idea is to complement your very good-looking eyewear with lenses that will help you see just as well!
At The Lens Men and The Eye Site, we use prescription lenses of only the highest quality to ensure our patients enjoy the most optimal and clearest vision possible. With the thinnest, newest and highest quality lenses on the market, we’ll help you put the days of reflection, cumbersome glasses and bifocal lines behind.
We have a lens for every need and prescription:
- Single vision: An all-purpose lens for either distance (short-sightedness) or reading (near-sightedness) correction
- Progressive multifocals: Distance, intermediate and reading vision all in one lens, with no visible lines
- Bifocals: Distance and reading vision in one lens, with line demarcation
- Hi-index: Thinner lenses for higher prescriptions in a variety of indices, a flatter and lighter option
- Multi-coat: In addition to removing distracting reflections, also reduces eye fatigue and enhances vision
- UV protection coating: Sunscreen for your eyes, as exposure to harmful UV rays can lead to cataracts and other eye ailments
- Scratch-resistant coating: Protects lenses from everyday wear and tear
- Impact-resistant: Recommended for rimless and half-rimless frames, also suitable for regular frames
- Polarisation: Highly recommended for eliminating glare, especially useful for athletes, active wearers, outdoor enthusiasts and those whose work takes them outside
