The Lens Men Go Back to St. Hilda's for Senior Citizens' Eye Screening

The Lens Men found themselves among good friends conducting eye screening for 19 senior citizens on public assistance at St. Hilda's Community Services Centre in Kampong Arang, once again as part of the Southeast CDC's P.A. Review programme!

Of the patients screened by The Lens Men - The Centrepoint optometrist Kang Hean Young and The Lens Men - Parkway Parade Dan Toh, we will be dispensing nine prescription spectacles to improve both near and distance vision for these elderly neighbours. We also found cataract and pterygium ailments in two patients, and hopefully with this early detection they will be able to seek treatment to save their eyesight. We were also glad that an old friend, who received a pair of prescription spectacles from us a few months ago, is enjoying great vision!
