Going the Extra Mile

Everyone knows that The Lens Men team always goes the extra mile for our customers, but did you know that we also rack up the miles -- literally?

December 2, 2007 — On December 2, 2007, The Lens Men (The Centrepoint) assistant manager Ben Chan, marketing/P.R. manager Desiree Koh and optometrist Dion Koh all completed the Standard Chartered Marathon, at chip times of 6:13:43, 5:00:43 and 5:48:48 respectively. With managing director Peter Koh and wife Ade on hand to cheer the team on at the 20km and 30km marks, cramps, wobbly knees and physical exhaustion were overcome as everyone pushed towards the finish line after 42.175 gruelling kilometres. Congratulations, runners!
