Playing Ball At Singapore Baseball & Softball Association Slowpitch Carnival

The Lens Men has always been very supportive of sports - we cover registration fees for any employee who signs up for a race, a run or other events. So when Zhuang Jieqi, one of our customers and organizer of the 2009 Singapore Baseball and Softball Association Slowpitch Carnival asked if we'd like to be a part of the tournament, we were more than happy to play ball!

Since a number of players from Singapore's national women's softball squad are our customers and P.R./marketing manager Desiree Koh is a life-long competitive softball player, it was natural for us to show our support and appreciation of the sport in the way we know best. By sponsoring the prizes for two of the three categories of play - intermediate champs received $50 gift certificates and competitive champs received Polaroid sunglasses worth $150 each - we hope that these ballplayers will be able to play even better with great vision and vision protection! Each player in the squads of 20 received a prize each, and we've already heard that many of the LZBs, who took the intermediate trophy home, were going to put their gift certificates to new contacts and sunglasses. Give us some credit for your next home run!
